Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse
Location: Harrison, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day shift, 5x8 hours)
- Hours per Week: 40 hours
- Call Requirements:
- 1 weekend call per month
- 1 to 2 call shifts weekly
- Floating: Required as needed within scope of practice
- Start Date: ASAP
- EMR System: Meditech
- Locals Allowed: No
- Radius Restriction: 50 miles
- First Time Travelers: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
- Criminal background check covering the last 7 years, updated annually
- Education verification required
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug test including marijuana, within 2 weeks of start
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
- Annual fit mask test required
- Immunizations and/or titers required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); unvaccinated candidates must wear a mask while on shift
- COVID-19 vaccine or facility-approved declination required
Additional Requirements
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Completion of employment application/resume
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
- Competency exams as applicable by profession
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
- Floating and call duties are part of the role and must be performed as needed.
- Hospice experience is preferred but not mandatory.
