Job Description

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments across multiple settings:

  • Inpatient (25%): acute care, ICU, skilled nursing facility (SNF)
  • Outpatient (75%): hospital-based outpatient PT clinic
• Work includes ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, SNF), occasional OB, and extensive outpatient care
• Manage a full PT schedule with 5 to 15 patients per day; new evaluations typically one hour, follow-ups every 30-45 minutes
• Requires independence and thorough care approaches for outpatient diagnoses and inpatient mobility progression, including discharge planning

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
• Must be able to work Saturdays without exception
• Some flexibility in work hours may occur

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Hawaii
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
