Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Required Background and Compliance Checks
- Background Check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education Verification required
- State-specific searches including Washington State Patrol Search within 90 days of start
- Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
- Work History Verification may be required if reference exceptions are requested
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit Mask testing required annually (travel only; onsite testing available if no recent record)
- Immunizations/Vaccinations:
- TDAP within 10 years (declination acceptable)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination acceptable
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination acceptable
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (declination acceptable)
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow infection prevention protocols
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for respirator use (travel only)
Competencies and Training
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Competency Exams as applicable by specialty
- Annual completion of required Workramp modules:
- Annual Regulatory Requirements
- System Specialty Specific
- Regional Core and Specialty Specific modules as applicable

- Scrub Color: Any color allowed on all units

- No prior travel experience required (1st timer accepted)
