Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Required Background and Compliance Checks

• Background Check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
• Education Verification required
• State-specific searches including Washington State Patrol Search within 90 days of start
• Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
• Work History Verification may be required if reference exceptions are requested

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Fit Mask testing required annually (travel only; onsite testing available if no recent record)
• Immunizations/Vaccinations:

  • TDAP within 10 years (declination acceptable)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination acceptable
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination acceptable
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (declination acceptable)
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow infection prevention protocols
• Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for respirator use (travel only)

Competencies and Training

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Competency Exams as applicable by specialty
• Annual completion of required Workramp modules:

  • Annual Regulatory Requirements
  • System Specialty Specific
  • Regional Core and Specialty Specific modules as applicable

Additional Notes

• Scrub Color: Any color allowed on all units
• Badge Photo: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
• No prior travel experience required (1st timer accepted)
• 48-hour workweek approved
