Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - BMT Unit
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work on a 51-bed Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit caring for patients with blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies.
- Shifts available: Night (3x12 hours, 7 PM - 7 AM) or Day (3x12 hours, 7 AM - 7 PM).
- Nurse-to-patient ratios typically 3-4:1 but may flex based on staffing and unit needs.
- Floating required within scope between BMT/Oncology and Cellular Therapy Unit (CTU) and possibly to sister facilities in the metro region.
- Charting system: Epic.
- Scrub color: Navy.
- Weekend work required as per unit needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of Bone Marrow Transplant experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- Hematology experience.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
