Registered Nurse (RN) - SSSU/PACU

Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Short Stay Surgery Unit (SSSU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Float across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and support hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures.
Perform nursing assessments, peri-operative education, and care.
Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in PreOp and PACU nursing
BLS certification
