Description
Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital (Travel/Contract)
Location: San Angelo, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Weekend Shifts: 3-6 rotating weekend shifts per contract
- EMR System: EPIC
- First-time travelers considered with prior acute care clinical rotation experience and comfort in acute care settings
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Additional Information
- Candidates must complete several facility-specific forms prior to start, including health record forms, vaccine exemption forms (if applicable), and non-employee orientation updates
- Pass/Fail testing on EKG/Medication and other relevant skills will be conducted during orientation with remediation offered same day if needed
- Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers with acute care clinical rotation experience are considered
This position offers an opportunity to work in an acute care hospital setting with adult and geriatric patients, utilizing EPIC EMR, and requires flexibility for rotating weekend shifts.
