Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

- 12 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit
- Acute Care Hospital setting
- Unit staffed with 18 beds; total facility beds: 97
- Magnet-designated hospital
- Charting system: EPIC
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking
Staffing Ratios
- Follow AWHONN guidelines based on labor stage or induction method
- Postpartum ratio: 1 nurse to 3-4 couplets
Floating
- Floating between two nearby facilities within scope of practice is required
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- AWHONN Intermediate (Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP certification
