Job Opportunity: PCU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work includes weekends and rotating holidays.
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.
• Must float to different units within the organization as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
• MedSurg nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record system

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.

Summary of Work Hours

• 36 hours per week, night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours each.

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced MedSurg RN with telemetry and EPIC experience, able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and willing to float across units as needed. Compliance with extensive background checks, fingerprinting, certifications, and health requirements is mandatory.
