Description

Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Work schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with rotating days off throughout the month
Call requirement: One weekday per week and one weekend every 4 weeks
Weekly hours: 36 hours
Procedures involved: Left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and device implants
Responsibilities include administering moderate sedation, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting with procedure setup and breakdown

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Cardiac Cath Lab experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
