Registered Nurse (PCU) - Nights

Location: Aspen, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Provide nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit (PCU).
Serve as the primary nurse in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting.
Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM.
Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8,000 ft elevation).

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some experience within the last year.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Additional Information

Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
Housing costs are high, especially in winter; typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in nearby towns (Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs) is around $3,500/month.
Not accepting any Return to Office (RTO) requests.
