Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Shift Length: 12 hours per day

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses (Med Surg / Stepdown units).
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Illinois.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must not have been employed by this health system within the last 12 months.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference must be submitted.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply (not detailed here).
• Call back and on-call pay available (details excluded).
• Facility includes trauma centers with varying levels (Level 1 trauma center at Rock Island).

Weekly Hours

• Typically 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Alternative overtime threshold at 48 hours per week may apply.
