Operating Room Cardiac Surgery Nurse (RN) - Contract
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days/Varied, rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Provide cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients across all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly.
- Collaborate with multiple provider specialties to care for patients being admitted or discharged the same day.
- Work primarily in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license at time of application.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years experience in ICU, PCU, and/or medical-surgical acute care setting.
- At least 1 year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class.
- Preferred but not required:
- 1 year CVOR/Open Heart experience.
- ICU experience.
- Scrubbing experience.
