Registered Nurse - IV Therapy (Outpatient Oncology Infusion)

Location

City: Brunswick, Maine

Position Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 26 weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM
Weekly hours: 40 guaranteed
No weekend or on-call requirements
No float requirements

Job Description

Outpatient oncology infusion nurse (not vascular access)
Care for outpatients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusions
Patient ratio varies from 1:7 to 1:9 depending on treatment type and acuity
Unit has 21 infusion chairs with an average daily census of 46 patients
Use of IV pumps and Epic EMR system

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience
Hematology/Oncology experience within the last year
Infusion experience
