Description

Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: Brownwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 48 hours (may consider 36 hours/week)
Start Date: Within the next 3-5 weeks


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Job Details

  • Work Schedule: Night shift, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each
  • Work Hours: Typically 48 hours per week; may consider 36 hours/week
  • Start Date: Expected within 3-5 weeks from contract acceptance

Orientation and Facility Requirements

  • Completion of facility-specific orientation modules (~3-4 hours)
  • Review and sign multiple facility-specific acknowledgments and agreements prior to start, including:
    • Vaccination Information Acknowledgment
    • TB and Occupational Exposure Acknowledgment
    • Patient Centered Pledge
    • Contract Employee Receipt and Acknowledgement
    • Computer Security Agreement
    • Corporate Compliance Acknowledgment
    • Confidentiality Statement
    • Employee Misconduct Registry Acknowledgment
    • Self Identify Form
    • Relationship to Physician Form
    • Authorization for Background Check
    • Traveler Identification Form
  • Review of employee handbook (information only)
  • Completion of facility-required health record and compliance forms prior to start
  • Pass/Fail testing for Telemetry nurses (if applicable) with up to two attempts

Additional Notes

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID) required
  • E-Verify or attestation required
  • Background checks and verifications must be current and compliant with facility and state requirements
  • Drug screen policy strictly enforced; positive results result in immediate cancellation
  • Facility parking available for orientation and employment at no cost
  • Fit testing can be completed onsite for a fee
