Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location: Brownwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (5 days per week, 8 hours per day, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Required certification: ARRT (N) or NMTCB
- Texas state license required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
Additional Information
- Orientation includes mandatory modules (~3-4 hours)
- Parking available at no cost during and after orientation
- Pass/fail testing required for telemetry nurses (not applicable here but noted for awareness)
- Annual updates required for some certifications and health documents
- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival; positive results result in immediate cancellation
This position is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists with the required certifications and Texas licensure, ready to start promptly and commit to a 13-week travel contract with day shifts.
