Description

Mammography Technologist (Temporary)

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Shift: Days
Hours per day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Assist in breast biopsy procedures including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms.
  • Instruct and position patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs.
  • Ensure work area meets safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness standards.
  • Manually enter data to prepare for dictation and billing.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
  • Note: The contract permits 1 unscheduled absence and 2 tardies during the 13-week period; exceeding this will result in immediate contract termination.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
  • ARRT (M) Certification.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

  • Coverage may be required at the main campus downtown or at an additional facility in Farmington Hills.
  • This is a temporary position with a 13-week contract length.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
