Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Hobbs, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Float: No floating between units
- On-Call: Yes, 1-2 weekdays and 1-2 weekends per month (rotational)
- Weekends: Not required
- Block Schedules: Not required
- Specialty Skills Required: Knowledge and skills in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Podiatry
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Beds: 61
- Scrub Color: Navy (for all RNs)
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Knowledge and skills in Orthopedics and Podiatry
- Experience in Orthopedics and OB/GYN specialties
