Description
MRI Technician Position - Athens, Georgia
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current and valid BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
Candidates must provide the following documentation, all to be current and compliant with specified timelines:
- License/Certificate Verification:
- Verification dated within 30 days of start date.
- BLS Certification:
- Scanned front and back images of the card.
- Health Screenings and Immunizations:
- Fit Test.
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start; no THC).
- COVID-19 Vaccine proof (including booster through Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report.
- Hepatitis B: At least first vaccination prior to start; subsequent doses per schedule.
- Influenza Vaccine (optional).
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements.
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer.
- Physical/Health Statement: Exam within last year confirming fitness to work.
- Background and Professional Checks:
- Federal, Nationwide, and County Criminal Background Check (last 7 years), including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
- Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED).
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) report dated within 30 days.
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days.
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days.
- Professional Forms:
- Signed Code of Conduct form.
- Signed Confidentiality of Patient & Proprietary Information and System Security Agreement.
- Signed Integrity and Audit Services form (signed shortly before start).
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
- Trinity I9 form completed by agency.
- System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start.
- Testing and Skills:
- CORE Exam within the past year.
- Skills Checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
- Respirator Evaluation:
- Physician-signed evaluation form required.
Additional Notes
- All documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system as specified.
- Drug screen panel excludes THC.
- Declinations for vaccines are not accepted in California or Illinois.
- Some health requirements and evaluations may vary by location.
This position is suitable for MRI Technologists who meet licensure and certification requirements and can comply with comprehensive onboarding and health screening protocols.
