Shift Details

Night shift
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 to 7:00)
36 hours per week

Unit and Patient Care

Med/Surg Telemetry and Intermediate Care (IMC) Float Pool
Float between Med/Surg units and IMC units
Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:6
Patient conditions may include acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma patients

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
Minimum 2 years of Intermediate Care nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Comfortable working with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
One completed travel nursing assignment
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
