Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Ohio, Dayton

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Options:
- 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
- 3x12 hour shifts available
Call Requirements:
- Once weekly call (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Every 4th weekend call (7:00 AM Saturday - 7:00 AM Monday)
- Potential for one holiday 24-hour call
Workload: Approximately 20 patients per day across two EP labs and five cath labs
Environment: Fast-paced, high acuity Level 3 Cath Lab performing advanced cardiac cath, peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantations including structural heart procedures (Watchman, TAVR, Mitraclips)
Responsibilities:
- Provide peri-procedural care and patient education
- Assist cardiologists and specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain procedural records and documentation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Prior Travel Experience

No explicit prior travel experience required

This position is ideal for an experienced cardiac cath lab RN seeking a challenging, fast-paced travel assignment with advanced interventional cardiology procedures.
