• Ultrasound (General US, OB, small parts, Vascular US - upper & lower venous & arterial)
• OB and Arterial Extremity Doppler experience required

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS certification and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
• BLS certification
• West Virginia state license
• WV CARES clearance required prior to start
• Must be able to start IVs

Experience

• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)

Work Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift (6pm-6am, 7pm-7am, or 8pm-8am)
• 36 hours per week
• Staff works a 2,2,3 shift pattern between two teams
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation participation may be required
• No call or standby responsibilities

Department & Work Environment

• Department has 3 ultrasound scanners/rooms
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Average of 35 scans/studies per day
• Radiologist on-site until 5pm; after hours covered remotely
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used
• Orientation: 5 shifts with a preceptor, including 12-hour night shifts Friday through Sunday

Equipment & Systems

• Ultrasound machine: Siemens S2000
• EMR system: Community Works
• PACS system: Intellirad/Intelliconnect

Dress Code

• Any clean, professional scrub color allowed
• Permanent staff wear emerald green scrubs; travelers may match but not required

Additional Notes

• Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver’s license (50-mile radius rule)
