Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Odessa, Texas
Shift: Day shift, 8 AM to 5 PM (40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Start Date: June 28th
Job Description
- Provide physical therapy services in a rehabilitation setting.
- No weekend shifts required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) required.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables.
- Basic computer and word processing skills needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas.
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, SS trace, sex offender registry, and nationwide checks.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated with each contract renewal.
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation.
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
- Immunization or titer proof for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella.
- 9-panel drug screen within the last 12 months.
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
- Completed employment application/resume.
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units.
- Performance evaluations if employed over 1 year; internal evaluations if over 2 years.

Additional Notes
- Must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service.
- Must meet or exceed required competency exams as applicable.
- Orientation and compliance documents must be completed prior to start date.
