Registered Nurse – PCU (Night Shift) – Fayetteville, North Carolina
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: Must float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
- Block Scheduling: Open to accommodating block scheduling
- Local Candidates: Not accepted (must be outside a 50-mile radius from the main campus)
- Travel Pairs: Not accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: Call-off policy allows 2 shifts off per 13-week assignment; all contracted shifts beyond that are guaranteed
- Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
- Contract Limit: Maximum of 2 contracts (one extension allowed), then must be gone for 6 months before returning
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some PCU experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
