Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - EP Lab

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab focusing on cardiac electrical impulse procedures.
  • Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
  • Patient ratio: 1:1.
  • Responsibilities include preparing the environment, assessing patients, reviewing safety checklists, and monitoring patients during procedures.
  • Charting system: EPIC.
  • On-call requirement: 2 call days per week plus holiday shift call.
  • No floating to other units required.
  • Scrub color provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado.
  • Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience, with experience within the last year.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Additional Information

  • Weekend shifts are not required but may change based on staffing needs.
  • Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may have a different pay rate (not disclosed here).
  • Facility-specific orientation and training modules must be completed within the first two weeks of assignment.
  • Candidates must comply with state-specific CAPS check results within 60 days of start.
  • No prior travel experience required.

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in an EP Lab requiring at least 2 years of EP experience, with day shifts on a 4x10 schedule.
