Interventional Radiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Summary
- Backfill position in Interventional Radiology with a focus on Radiology/Cardiology specialty.
- No call or float responsibilities.
- Scrubs provided.
- Documentation system used: MiChart (EPIC).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year.
- Certifications:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only, no certificates of completion accepted; must maintain valid card throughout assignment.
Required Documentation and Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Background checks including:
- 7-year background check within 30 days of start, renewed annually (all counties lived/worked, sex offender, nationwide).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks prior to start and updated annually.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screens not accepted).
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start (N95 masks accepted; facility fit test can be done for a fee).
- Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 1 year; if past positive, clear chest X-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire required.
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31) with no exemptions allowed. Egg-free vaccines available for allergies.
- Employment application and 2 recent professional references (from managers/supervisors; charge RN references not accepted).
Additional Requirements
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required as applicable (AHA only, no RQI or certificates of completion accepted).
- Pass/fail competency testing (EKG/medication) required for certain units; candidates will have two attempts to pass.
- Facility-specific documents and attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start, including confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, sexual harassment, and cornerstone module attestations.
- Candidates must complete required orientation paperwork on the first day.
- ID badge and pager return policies apply; failure to comply may result in fees.
- Facility uses a new ID management system requiring multiple forms of ID upload before assignment start.
