Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Festus, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8 (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: 10-15 days per month (weekdays, weekends, holidays)
Call Proximity: Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital

Job Description

• Provide support in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting providers with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and peripheral procedures.
• Operate cath lab equipment such as IABP, Impella, Penumbra, and CSI.
• Run the procedure table and move the C-Arm during cases.
• Perform sheath removal and maintain hemostasis.
• Ability to multitask effectively in high-stress situations.
• Participate in on-call rotation as specified.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist.
• Recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
• Experience or certification in Critical Care is a plus.
• Preferred certification in Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology.

Dress Code

• Scrubs provided by the hospital.
• No attire other than the provided scrubs is acceptable.
