Description
Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Position requires working in Interventional Radiology with day shifts, weekends, and call responsibilities.
- Callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as required by the department.
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs and between like units is required.
- Block scheduling accommodations are possible.
- Locals are not accepted (must be outside a 50-mile radius from the main campus).
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Must have prior Interventional Radiology experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Facility & Work Environment
- Short-term acute care facility.
- Level III Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital.
- Total staffed beds: 733.
- Charting system: Epic.
- Scrub color provided.
- Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler.
- Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning.

- Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional, no large earrings, face piercings, unnatural hair colors, or head coverings unless for religious reasons).
- Modules must be completed prior to start.
- Flu vaccine documentation must include detailed information (name, manufacturer, lot #, expiration, injection site, date given).
- COVID exemptions (medical or religious) require facility approval with specific documentation.
- Drug testing panel includes amphetamines, methamphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, opiates, phencyclidine, propoxyphene, and marijuana.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam and pass/fail testing require a minimum score of 80%; remediation and retesting policies apply.
