Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Description

• Work in Adult and Nuclear Cardiology settings.
• Perform procedures including Gastric Emptying, HIUDA Scan, Muga Scan, 3 Phase, Whole Body Bone Scan, Liver Imaging, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Pharmacological Stress.
• Responsible for Isolation Precautions and handling/storing/disposal of radioactive materials.
• Must be able and willing to multitask and work as a team player.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs.
• Weekend and on-call required: rotating call for one week at a time covering all after-hours including Saturday and Sunday.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Shift options include:

  • 4 shifts of 10 hours (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week
  • 3 shifts of 12 hours (36 hours per week)
  • 4 shifts of 12 hours (48 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana.
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year.
• Experience working with adult patients.
• CNMT or NMTCB certification required and must be in hand to submit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or RQI accepted).
