Registered Nurse – Pain Management (Travel)
Location

Job Summary
- Provide routine and complex nursing care independently in pain management procedures, including pre-op, OR, and PACU settings.
- Typically involved in pain procedure injections performed in the OR.
- Manage clinical situations by making appropriate assignments and delegations.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of pain management nursing experience within the last year
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in pre-operative (Pre-Op) nursing
- Experience in Operating Room (OR) nursing
- Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
