Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Location

Tampa, Florida

Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift, 5 days per week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
40 hours per week
1-2 weekends per contract (flexible scheduling based on HomeCare office needs)

Job Description

Provide skilled home health occupational therapy visits (6-8 visits per day)
Patient population includes medical/surgical, cardiac, orthopedic (hips/knees/shoulders), post-surgical, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, stroke, falls, weakness, Parkinson’s, respiratory patients, neuro, tracheostomy care, trauma, amputees (AKA, BKA), and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Documentation via electronic systems (laptop, MiFi, portable printers provided)
Self-scheduling of visits and hours based on office needs

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in a Home Health setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
