X-Ray Tech (Radiology Tech / Cardiology)

Location: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
• Weekend and on-call requirements as per unit needs
• Floating between like units and sister facilities may be required

Job Description

• Experienced with operating room (OR) procedures required
• Review patient history, physician's orders, and scheduling
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select exposure factors and imaging parameters
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control on equipment
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Analyze imaging results and resolve quality issues, including re-positioning and repeating procedures
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including X-Ray Technician experience
• Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (R) certification required

Additional Notes

• Maximum of 10 return-to-office (RTO) days approved, with blackout periods in March, May, and June/July 2026
• Scrub color: grey top, black bottom
• Charting system: EPIC
• Onsite fit testing and PAPR available if needed
• Floating and on-call requirements will be discussed during interview

This position is suitable for Radiology Technologists with OR experience seeking a travel contract in Colorado with a defined 13-week assignment and a consistent weekday evening shift.
