Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) – Home Health (Days)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)

Job Description

• Provide direct speech therapy services to home health clients.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in developing comprehensive patient care plans.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment such as language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs is required.
• Must have own vehicle for travel to client homes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Speech and Language Pathology experience in Home Care.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellow candidates accepted.
• Valid Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to Speech Language Pathology current within 1 year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.

Preferences

• Acute care experience preferred.

Additional Requirements and Notes

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location.
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
• Candidates must provide at least two specific interview date/time availabilities; vague availability such as "anytime" is not accepted.
• Voicemail must be set up and reachable by the facility during the recruitment process.
