Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Oncology Infusion
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
- Patient Ratio: 1:7
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Charting System: Epic (Excellian)
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Accommodated
- Locals Accepted: No (must be outside 100-mile radius)
- Pending License: Accepted
- Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemo Cert (ONS/ONCC)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Special Requirements / Clinical Skills
- Experience with all oncology diagnoses requiring infusion
- Familiarity with GI/GU diagnoses needing infusion
- Management of OB fluids, nausea/vomiting regimens
- Experience with research protocols, migraine protocols, and antibiotics
- Skills in BCG, cystoscopy, and intrathecal chemotherapy administration
Additional Notes
- Guaranteed hours may be subject to cancellation of up to 3 shifts without penalty
- On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours
