Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry

Location: Del Norte, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 18:00–6:30)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Call Requirement: 2 call shifts per month (days or nights depending on unit needs)
Weekend Requirement: None
Floating Requirement: None

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Must have recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry (MS/Tele), Cardiac Telemetry, or Telemetry settings.
• Medication system used: Pyxis.
• Documentation system used: Amrita.
• Scrub color: Any.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Additional Information

• First-time travel nurses are accepted.
• Return-to-Office (RTO) parameters require manager approval.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) are preferred but not required unless working in ER.
• National certification verification and orientation safety manual acknowledgment required prior to start.
• Medication and competency exams required as applicable.

This position offers a structured night shift schedule with a manageable patient ratio and requires solid recent experience in MS/Telemetry nursing along with current certifications and compliance with state and facility-specific health and background requirements.
