Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a Medical Surgical unit.
• Requires 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Additional Information

• Orientation and fit testing will be conducted onsite.
• Pro-Act certification is required within 6 months if working in Behavioral Health (not specified for this role).
• Candidates must sign Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements before starting.
• Background checks and verifications must be completed within 30 days of start date.
• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
