Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Position

Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Proton Therapy)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks (about 3 months)
Shift: Flexible day shift, Monday through Friday

• Shift start time varies daily, approximately 8.5 hours after the last treatment of the previous day
• Typical end time ranges from 4:00–6:00 PM
  Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, with experience within the last year
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
  • Social Security trace, county, nationwide, sex offender, and FACIS level 3 checks
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated with each contract renewal
• Education verification
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug screening:

  • 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
  • Drug test required within 30 days of start including amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, oxycodone, PCP
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually

Additional Notes

• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and compliance checklist required
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable by profession
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications as required (depending on assignment)
