Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Care for a mixed patient population primarily on Medical-Surgical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Rotating shifts available: Days and Nights, with an option for straight nights.
• Shift hours:

  • Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
  • Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
• Total hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

• Facility will provide first week’s schedule and badge photo requirements.
• Workplace Violence Prevention training completed onsite during orientation.
• Religious and medical COVID-19 exemptions require formal documentation.
• Annual TB questionnaire required for those with past positive TB.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
