Description

Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work on a mixed acuity PCU and MS unit specializing in oncology and bone marrow transplant (BMT).
Patient population includes diagnoses such as:
- Acute and Chronic Leukemias (ALL, AML, CLL, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia)
- Amyloidosis, Aplastic Anemia
- Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
- Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Myeloproliferative Disorders
Special procedures include:
- Autologous, Syngeneic, and Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplants
- CAR-T Therapy
Shift assignments may rotate between days and nights depending on department needs, reviewed every 4 weeks but not guaranteed.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience within the last year
Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
