Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Nights)

Location: Cheboygan, Michigan

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 24/7 emergency department designed to handle everything from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma.
• Access to 24-hour specialty support in Heart & Vascular Services, Neurosciences, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Surgery.
• Work with an electronic medical record system (Cerner).
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.

Schedule

• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Additional Information

• The facility is part of a multi-specialty clinic offering outpatient services in the same building as the emergency department.
