Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Oncology Clinic

Location

Chicago, Illinois
Must live within 75 miles of the facility (locals only)

Employment Type

Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
No weekend or holiday call requirements
Time off requests (RTO) allowed up to 5 days max, no more than 2 consecutive days, with restrictions around holidays and weekends
Mandatory floating to other units within scope as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) certification
Chemotherapy (CHEMO) experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

Must complete facility-specific forms and rules of behavior
Charting system used: Cerner
Scrub color: Any solid color
Parking available at $2/day with shuttle service; public transit highly recommended

Notes

Prior travel experience is not required
Locals only; no pending licenses accepted
Floating to other units is mandatory as per facility policy

This position is ideal for an experienced oncology RN seeking a local travel contract with a structured weekday schedule and no weekend or holiday call.
