Job Opportunity: House Supervisor (Registered Nurse)
Location: Medford, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekends required
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: No floating between units
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a House Supervisor, with recent House Supervisor experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Demonstrated experience in supervisory roles
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
- Immunizations and Testing:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer or signed declination
- Hepatitis B - documentation of vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer or signed declination
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or signed declination
- COVID-19 vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to infection control policies
- Drug Screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months; instants acceptable; must be negative for THC/Marijuana
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for travel candidates; includes virtual questionnaire reviewed by healthcare professional
- Fit Mask Testing: Required for travel candidates; must be updated annually; onsite testing available if no recent record
Competencies and Training
- Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable by profession
- Unit-Specific Competency Exams: May be required (e.g., EFM training for Labor & Delivery RNs)
- Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of required annual modules via LMS (Workramp) including system specialty-specific, regional core, and specialty-specific modules
- Epic Training: Completion of Epic modules required within a week of orientation
Additional Requirements
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
- Float Policy Acknowledgement: Traveler may be required to float to other nearby facilities within the region
- State-Specific Requirements:
- Oregon Abuse/Neglect Search if applicable
- Washington State Patrol and WATCH searches if working in border or Washington facilities
- Multi-State Licensed Nurses in Washington must complete demographic attestations
