Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Location: Greeley, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a Med Surg PCU with a mixed patient population including cardiac, minor trauma, respiratory, and mildly unstable hemodynamic patients.
• All patient rooms are negative pressure capable and equipped with ceiling lifts.
• Floating within scope to sister units in the region may be required; advance notice will be provided.
• Weekend shifts are required as per unit needs.
• Return to Office (RTO) days limited to 10 maximum; no RTO allowed during specified blackout periods in 2026.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with PCU experience within the last year required
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• First-time travel nurses are accepted if they meet the experience requirement.
• No on-call duties required.
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may have a local rate (not included here).
