Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse with strong Orthopedic OR skills; General OR experience is secondary
• Shifts: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

  • Start times available: 06:45, 09:00, 11:00, 14:45
• Weekend work: As needed
• On-call: Yes, as needed
• Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling: Accommodated
• Locals and candidates with pending licenses accepted
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: No more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• Strong Orthopedics experience
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC required; RQI acceptable
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke, and other certifications as applicable based on unit assignment (review unit job description for specifics)
• Certification renewals must be current and accepted by the facility

Onboarding and Compliance

• Pre-orientation online modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment acceptance; modules vary by specialty and can take 3-9 hours
• Passport-style photo required within 48 hours of contract signing for badge issuance
• Badge request forms must be completed and submitted promptly
• Parking: First day parking validated for free in Blue Ramp; subsequent parking fees apply depending on shift and location

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment
• Drug testing is not required for client clearance but must be within 1 year if completed
• Flu vaccination documentation required for the 2025-2026 season, with declinations accepted
• Candidates must comply with all state-specific and facility-specific requirements to maintain clearance and eligibility
