Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

- Shift Options:
- 36 hours/week: 3 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 10:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
- 40 hours/week: 2 shifts of 12 hours and 2 shifts of 8 hours
- On-call Requirement: Two 24-hour calls per schedule (Monday-Friday, either 7 PM-11 PM or 7 PM-7 AM) with one day per week available to stay late
- Weekend Requirement: Two 24-hour calls per schedule
- Average Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
- Start Date: ASAP (next options 6/29 or 7/13)
- Must scrub cardiac surgery independently and circulate
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to independently scrub and circulate for cardiac surgery
Additional Requirements
- Must provide photo ID matching legal name on first day
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure required if applicable to assignment
- Compliance with facility-specific documentation and training requirements
- RTO (Return to Office) restrictions: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
