Medical Surgical Nurse (Contract)
Location: Newport, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Varies, includes rotating weekends

Unit Description
- Medical Surgical unit cares for acutely ill adults and patients requiring emergent or elective surgery.
- Emphasis on delivering the highest standards of professional care by registered nurses and nurse assistants.
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
