Description
Outpatient Hospice RN
Location: Albany, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Varies, includes rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Provide hospice nursing care supporting patients and families through the final stages of illness.
- Care is delivered in home settings including private residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and adult foster homes.
- Services include intermittent skilled nursing visits, 24-hour on-call nursing, pain and symptom management, medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, trained volunteers, and bereavement support.
- Medications and equipment are provided as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of hospice experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid driver’s license and personal automobile with required insurance; vehicle must be maintained in good working order

- Use of personal vehicle required for outpatient hospice visits.
