Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Some weekend commitments; no on-call required
• Hours of operation: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Sunday (variable)

Job Description

• Role: Triage Registered Nurse
• Provide care in adult ambulatory oncology infusion rooms across multiple clinic locations in the Portland metro area
• Patient population includes both oncology and non-oncology adult patients
• Work environment is shared and collaborative with virtual components
• Ability to alternate between various work sites (in-person or virtual) as needed
• Rotate into various pools and inbaskets in EPIC
• Process orders from internal and external sources

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of oncology experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients
• Infusion experience
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association provider)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current NRP certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
