Description

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Friday to Monday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
On-Call: None

Job Summary

Perform technical imaging procedures under the direction of medical leadership to create diagnostic images. Ensure patient safety and a positive experience while adhering to radiation safety regulations per New York State Department of Health code part 16. Support ongoing learning and teaching as imaging technology evolves.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in New York
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate's degree in Applied Science or a diploma in X-Ray from an approved professional imaging program
