Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift
Location

Shift Details
- Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:00 to 6:00)
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- No on-call required
- Floating within scope between like units as needed
Job Description
- Work primarily nights with weekend and holiday shifts required
- Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients in ICU settings
- Facility is a short-term acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital status
- Charting system: Epic
- Scrub color: Solid black or black and white
- Floating between units may be required to meet facility needs
- Only 4 days allowed for requested time off (RTO) and no holidays off
- Locals within a 50-mile radius of the main campus are not accepted for this travel role
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year

- Must review and sign facility-specific documents prior to start, including:
- Respiratory Therapist job description
- Confidentiality and information agreements
- Patient identification agreement
- Staff call out acknowledgement
- Corporate code of conduct
- Professional appearance acknowledgment
- Computer use acknowledgment
- Emergency contact form
- Agency personnel form
- Parking registration (if driving)
- Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional, no large earrings, face piercings, unnatural hair colors, or head coverings unless for religious reasons)
- Completion of mandatory orientation and facility modules prior to start
- Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning

- ICU setting with adult and pediatric patients
- Level III Trauma Center
- Use of Epic electronic medical records
- Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds
This position is ideal for experienced RRTs comfortable with night shifts, pediatric and adult ICU care, and flexible floating assignments within respiratory/neuro diagnostics.
