Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Flemington, New Jersey
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per week: 12 (minimum 2 shifts per month)
Contract length: 52 weeks (1 year)
Employment type: Per Diem Float Pool

Position Overview

Seeking experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurses to join a Per Diem Float Pool for the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This role offers flexibility while maintaining a commitment to excellent patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Additional Requirements and Policies

• Must commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per month
• Flu immunization is mandatory unless a valid medical exemption with documentation is provided
• Cancellation notice: 2 hours
• Scrub policy: Any color scrubs allowed if clean and neat

Compliance and Screening

Candidates must complete standard healthcare screenings and verifications including but not limited to:

• Background check
• Drug screen
• Physical exam
• Immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine plus booster, Hep B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella)
• Competency exams (including Dysrhythmia Basic A)
• License and employment verification
• Various federal and state exclusion and sanction screenings
